Oakwood pond update! 💧🚜

Swipe to see where this project started!

Before excavation began, we dug several test pits to evaluate the soil and ensure it had the right conditions to hold water. Once we confirmed the ground was suitable, we got to work.

Fast forward a few months, and this pond is now approximately 17 feet deep in the center with only a couple more feet to go before it’s completely full. Even before reaching full capacity, it’s already serving its purpose by providing a reliable water source for livestock.

It’s always rewarding to see a project come full circle from planning and testing the ground to watching it fill and become a valuable asset for the property.
