More about checking if your router is reset
Hey guys, Hind sight is 20/20 here. I failed to mention a couple more things.

One: if you have all green lights but you dont see your wifi name, your router is still probably factory reset. Refer to previous links.

Two: If you do see your name broadcast, do you have extenders? Unplug them and see if you still see your name.

Three: If you see the name and the lights are all green but you still dont have internet or internet is on and off, Check if you have a wireless extender plugged in somewhere. Unplug it, reboot your router and see if you have internet. If this restores your internet then there could be something funny going on with your extender. We can get a service call here in the coming weeks to get that taken care of... After the dust settles on everything.

Okay guys! thats it for now. We did also find an issue that was quite large in Foxboro area. So if you live there and had no internet, you might now. Try rebooting stuff and it might come back online!

If your internet is still down, Try this.

Hi everyone,

First off, we want to share some good news: the majority of the issues affecting our network were fully resolved yesterday afternoon. However, as we’ve been working around the clock to get everyone back online, we noticed a very consistent pattern. We realized that while many of you were trying to troubleshoot during the outage, a quick press of the "reset" button may have actually done its job a little too well.

If you hit that button, it likely performed a factory reset—wiping your settings and leaving your router in a "blank slate" mode. After re configuring a high volume of routers for our customers, it finally clicked for us: this is exactly what’s happening to almost everyone still experiencing issues!

Does this sound like you?
Check these two things real quick:

Is there an orange light glowing on your router?

Is your usual Wi-Fi name missing from the list on your phone or laptop?

If you answered YES to both, then get excited! You aren’t dealing with a network outage anymore; you just need a quick setup. In about 15 minutes or less, we’re going to have your internet back up and running.

*If your answer is no to the wifi name missing, IT sounds like we need to investigate you're connection a little more closely. If you could reply to this email with the heading: "My router is not factory reset, still down" We will get back to you as quickly as possible. Like we said, most of the network issues are all resolved now and there are just a few outlier cases left we believe. But your response to this will help us know how accurate our understandings are!

Hang in there with us! ☕️

Our team has been burning the midnight oil at the data center. While we successfully fixed the Edge yesterday, the DHCP Server decided to give us a bit more trouble than expected.

We’re making the final tweaks now and expect to be back up soon. Because our internal systems are down, we can’t take calls or texts at the moment, but we are pushing updates out via email as fast as we can.

We know "when it rains, it pours," and we hate that this bled into your workday. Thanks for sticking with us—we’ll be hopping into the comments to help everyone individually once we are officially back online!

Network Service Update

Many of you may currently be experiencing issues with your internet, phone services, or internal applications.

We are currently in the final stages of a massive undertaking to upgrade our Entire Edge network. This is a significant leap forward for our infrastructure that touches every single service we run. As the saying goes, all great improvements and growth come with a few bumps along the way, and we’ve certainly hit a few during this transition.

Because of the depth of these improvements, we cannot roll back, so our team is fully committed and powering through to get everything stabilized.

The Latest:

Progress: We are making steady progress, and the most critical pieces of the network are already beginning to come back online.

Timeline: While we can’t commit to a hard ETA just yet, we are working toward having things in a good place within the next hour (hopefully).

Our Apology: We sincerely apologize for missing our original maintenance window. This wasn't the intended plan, and we are doing everything in our power to restore full service ASAP.

What’s Next:
We will send a follow-up email to provide more clarity on the situation and let everyone know once we are officially in the "All Clear."
