Love the off season at the soccer complexes. Laying stripes 12 feet at a time with this machine and two other zero turns with a total of 11 feet of cut running on another field. Doesn’t take long to cover a lot of acres with that much cutting power. We will end up mowing close to 44 acres today by mid afternoon.
Outdoors, beautiful day, who could ask for more?

Finally a warm day! This is a soccer field near Adel that we maintain. Today we are doing some field over seeding on a couple of the closed fields. The areas being seeded are very high traffic areas in front of the goals, mid field ect. This machine is what is called a mechanical slit seeder. Knives cut a shallow groove in the soil prior to dropping seed. This allows for a better seed bed and gives much better results than just broadcasting on top of the ground. As you can see there is only minimal existing turf disturbance so this is a great option to improve existing lawns and athletic fields. We also have a walk behind unit that we use for smaller areas.

Not very often that on April 25th early afternoon we are out laying stripes and it’s only 39 degrees with flurries. Looking forward to mid 70s!
