The Blackhawk Group announced today the launch of the Blackhawk Engine Exchange, a new, dedicated business line established to significantly reduce aircraft downtime and provide cost certainty for PT6A operators facing overhaul.

The Blackhawk Engine Exchange removes the uncertainty by offering immediately available, freshly overhauled engines (through Pratt & Whitney Canada’s Designated Overhaul Facility (DOF) network) at fixed prices. Aircraft downtime drops to as little as 2-3 days with no rental engine, no multiple swaps, no waiting on long lead parts, and no distraction managing the process. This keeps aircraft flying and operators focused on their missions. Operators also receive financial credit for engine cores exchanged for the newly overhauled Blackhawk Engine.

Today, The Blackhawk Group joins our nation in remembering those who lost their lives and those who gave their lives on September 11, 2001.

We honor the nearly 3,000 victims whose lives were taken, as well as the families and loved ones who carry their memory, and those beyond brave who ran into danger without hesitation.

We remember the firefighters, law enforcement officers, emergency personnel, service members, and countless others who answered the call that day, as well as those who have continued to bear the lasting effects of their service.

Twenty-five years later, their courage, sacrifice, and selflessness remain an enduring part of our nation’s story that we will never forget.
