Another goal achieved!

This designation allows us to compete for federal contracts and provides leverage in securing large corporate contracts.

My son created my logo nearly six years ago.

He was 17 years old and a Junior in high school.

Price your services for profit!
I priced my services so low when I first started my consulting business that I literally felt like I was working for FREE.
It wasn’t a lack of quality or clients - it was my pricing. I was so hung up about what I thought my clients could afford, I failed to include the value I was providing as part of the pricing structure. I was changing people’s lives and barely breaking even!
Thankfully I took the advice of a business advisor who provided me with a formula: increase your prices by 10% for every 3rd client.
The thought process was that 3 clients = validation.
Validate people who are willing to pay that amount.
Validate my clients value what I have to offer.
The validation I need to increase.
I followed this formula for a long time until I reached the pricing structure that felt good to me.
Now, I increase my prices annually. With the exception of this past year.
With literally EVERYTHING on the rise, I didn’t want our highly sought services to become out of reach. So, I have kept my prices the same for the past two years and I’m currently analyzing my game plan for 2023.
What’s your biggest hangup when it comes to pricing your services?!

I had big dreams. I wanted lush, green trees in my backyard. To provide shade and in full honesty, add more privacy. They say fences make good neighbors. We already have a fence. Now I wanted trees.

Uhhh.

Now I know why my landscaper smiled when I said I was going to plant some trees and, BOOM! I no longer see my neighbors while sitting on my deck….

…instead I'm just looking at my trees wondering why they aren't growing faster, or at all! I'm just focused on rapid growth because I have no idea what else I should be looking for.

I think business is a lot like planting trees.

It requires soul-searching and going deeper than you may want. And it requires more of your time and commitment than you want.

The key to success is in the planning and the strategy, and in being clear on your ‘why’ – rather than fast growth.

Who would have dreamed I would learn so many biz lessons from trying to grow trees!

There are so many important things that go into a business.

Establishing a business. Check. Launching the business. Check. Grow and scale the business. Wait, what?
