Happy 4th of July......the hottest day this past week 112...yikes! Very bad weather the past two evenings. Wind at 42 MPH! We made it through w/o the hail....many ranchers close by lost everything. May the good Lord be with us in the coming days! We hope all is well with all of you....

Spring is here! Everything is trying to bust out all over!!! We have had good moisture this winter/spring so we are pretty sure of a good crop of hay! You all come out and stay.....ya hear?!

We had 22 hunters here this 2015 deer hunt! They seemed very pleased with their hunt. Lots of kills! Loved seeing everyone. Some of them is their 5th year here! Love these guys!

Hello from God's country! It is beautiful here. We have had 19 inches of rain since the first of the year and that doesn't count all the snow. Lots and lots of nice grass. Needs to dry off some so we can get some hay put up, but it will get done. Hope everyone is enjoying their summer and can't wait to see you all soon! Patti and Gene.

Hello everyone. Hope all is well with you and yours. It is beautiful here at the ranch. Lots and lots of grass. Cows are happy and so are we. It has been in the upper 90's this week but Gene is in the air conditioned swather! Have a safe and wonderful 4th of July!!!

You all aren't going to believe it....it is snowing again at The Kickback....snowing since 3:00 pm and already have 3 inches of snow....thinking about putting up the Christmas Tree...ha, ha..

2 feet plus here at The Kickback. No water since Saturday, but we are make it through it. We will have a great hay crop this year! And so will everyone else!

It's a blizzard here at The Kickback today. Rain and snow yesterday and blowing snow all night. Not suppose to stop until six tonight. Boy, have we got the snow!

It's a beautiful day here at The Kickback! Bulls get to go out and be with the girls in about 6 days. Good chance for moisture all week in the forecast...God Is Good!
