Consumers are reigning in spending in the midst of raging inflation and impending recession. Yet, we spent $11.7 billion this week for Prime Day(s). Apparently, we saved $1.8 billion or just over 15% of that spending to counter inflation. Great News for Arizona and Florida, which will get at least a few weeks of spring training tourism in for the 2022 season. Will it be too little, too late? If so, big deals in store for local residents of these states to attend spring training.

The deal ends a lockout that began in December, with opening day now set for April 7. The sides agreed to play a full 162-game schedule.

Facebook, for years, has made profit from their users’ willingness to share evereverything about themselves; pocketing billions and using that money to change consumer behavior. Now that Apple has given consumers the option to opt out to protect users’ privacy, FB wants you to opt back in so they can continue to manipulate you…..and put those billions back in their pocket.

Privacy features for mobile devices have prompted e-commerce businesses to slash ad spending. The changes are hitting the heart of Meta’s ability to target ads at users. “Apple has changed the game.”

It's MONSOON in Arizona! Do you know a business owner who is NOT deluged in business? Just because the snowbirds have headed back north doesn't mean that they should roll in the sidewalks. The rules about what to wear to the office are gone. Now retailers, workers and employers are trying to figure out what will work in a world in which the traditional dress code might never come back.

extends to all those who work at hotels as well. Help support those folks such as Greg Marshall, furloughed from Holiday Inn. Greg is a chef there and crafts the best baked goods you can imagine. Cinnamon raisin that beats the pants off of Pepperidge Farms and Lemon Loaf that is better than anything you’ve ever had from Starbucks. Plus dark bread, traditional stuff and anything else you can imagine!
