Okay, I get it. I’m the problem. 😂

I’ve been watching Jessica Carter | motherhood + personal growth absolutely BLOW UP online lately and caught myself thinking, what the f am I doing?

Watching someone go from around 10K followers to over 100K while making very real money from simply showing up made something click for me.

Because the annoying part is… I know how to do this.

I know marketing. I know branding. I know how to launch things. I’ve literally presold an entire retreat in less than a week before I even had a website for it.

But when it comes to doing it for myself?

I overthink the content.
I overthink what people will think.
I wait until I have a “strategy.”
I convince myself I need to film more first.

Meanwhile, the women I’m watching change their lives are doing one very important thing I’m not:

they’re freaking posting.

So this is me getting out of my own way.

I don’t need another content plan.

I don’t need to wait until I have enough B roll.

I definitely don’t need to suddenly become someone who moves a tripod 14 times for one Reel.

I need to use what I already know, share what’s actually happening in my life and business, and post the damn thing.

Will some people think it’s cringe?

Probably.

So let them cringe. 🤍

I’d rather they cringe while I try than watch another year go by wondering what could’ve happened if I actually did.

Rediscovering yourself in your 30s is wild.

But almost dying will do that to ya.

I’m not going to lie, the last 16 months have been A LOT.

Hospitalizations. Challenging motherhood stages. Career changes. Friendships ending. Starting over. Questioning who I am, what I want, and what I actually want my life to look like.

And somewhere along the way I realized…

I don’t have to go back to who I was before everything happened.

I get to decide who I become after it.

So that’s what I’m doing. Taking my life back. Trying new things. Protecting my peace. Chasing what excites me. Finding joy again. And building a life that actually feels like mine.

If you’re in the weeds right now too, wondering where she went, hi friend. 🤍 I’m getting back up with you.

choosing you is allowed

you can be a girls’ girl and still choose yourself

both can exist

because how many times have you told someone else…

do what’s best for you
take the chance
go all in

but when it comes to you… you pause

you overthink
you put everyone else first
you convince yourself it’s “selfish”

I’ve been there too

and I think what shifted for me was realizing this:

if I’m pouring into everyone else but not into myself…
eventually there’s nothing left to give

& that’s not the kind of girls’ girl I want to be

I want to show up fully for my girls & for me

so if you’ve been feeling that pull to choose yourself lately
this is your sign you’re not wrong for it

you’re just being your biggest hype girl!

Community is non-negotiable.

Yesterday we took our studio leads out to lunch and the conversations didn’t stop.

Women celebrating new employees, promotions, anniversaries, pregnancies…truly being girls girls.

Getting to know each other, hearing the stories behind the studios they run every day, and learning more about the women leading them was everything to me.

Being new, I was meeting most of them for the first time and it reminded me how important the people running the rooms are when you’re growing something.

These studio leads work so hard, and in the short time I’ve been here it’s already clear how much they do for their teams and their studios.

I’m really excited to pour into the girls in my region, support them, and watch them and their instructors continue to grow in their careers.

Grateful to be part of a company that pours back into the people building it. 🤍
