🎉 It’s Tax Time! 🎉
While individuals may not look forward to tax season, it’s an exciting time for qualifying charitable organizations, like Dsquared Homes for the Homeless!
The Arizona Charitable Tax Credit is a state-specific, dollar-for-dollar, nonrefundable credit that allows Arizona taxpayers to reduce their state income tax liability by donating to approved Qualifying Charitable Organizations (QCOs).
In simple terms: if you owe Arizona taxes, you can donate those dollars to a qualifying nonprofit instead of sending them to the government. Unlike a deduction, which only reduces taxable income, a tax credit reduces your tax bill by the exact amount you donate.
2025 Tax Year Credit Limits
(For donations made through April 15, 2026)
Qualifying Charitable Organizations (QCOs):
Up to $495 for single/head of household/married filing separately
Up to $987 for married filing jointly
Eligibility: Donations must be made to a charity certified by the Arizona Department of Revenue as a QCO.
Deadline: Donations for the 2025 tax year can be made through April 15, 2026.
👉 To receive the credit for donations to Dsquared Homes for the Homeless, use QCO Code 22292.
