October is “Time to Think Pink”! Breast cancer is one of the most common types of Cancer in Both Men and Women. No matter who you are or where you live, breast cancer may touch your life. Many of us have been affected by this, whether it's a family member, a friend, or ourselves who has been diagnosed. It’s necessary to understand the warning signs of breast cancer, your risk of breast cancer, and what’s normal for you, so you can take action. Despite this progress, breast cancer is still the most common cancer in women worldwide and the second leading cause of cancer deaths among women in the United States. We likely all know someone who has been affected by breast cancer.

For nearly four decades now, the country has recognized October as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It is a time annually devoted to educating everyone about breast cancer and the importance of early detection and access to timely, high-quality care.
