Networking Tip: Don't wait around the edges of a room for someone to approach you, make it a point to talk to x amount of people (and maybe give yourself a reward for reaching your goal) and ask them 'May I join you?' or 'What brings you to this event?' Being interested in what they have to say will leave them with a lasting impression, and you with a building block to a referral!
