Put the finishing touches on my client’s office this week!
This is not your ordinary doctor’s office.
I had so much fun designing this space with Dr. Abby DeVries.
Abigail DeVries, MD / Durham, NC / women’s health physician specializes in women’s health and women in midlife experiencing perimenopause and menopause.
Ladies if you need a doctor in the area I highly recommend her!
For her office design:
We worked together to create an inviting space that doubles as a consultation and exam room.
So how did the process work?
➡️ Initial assessment to discuss room layout and color palette.
Discussed ways to incorporate brand colors into design.
➡️ Shopped in person and online for accessories, rug, art, lighting and furniture.
➡️ Incorporated existing art into room and chose new art and frames.
➡️ Styled bookshelves
➡️ Found furniture with enough storage that goes with aesthetic.
➡️ in progress… white shelves that will hold medical supplies and things needed for exams.
Right now shelves look a little too stark and so we looked at doing some colorful trays that are easy to wipe down.
We found a burgundy and gold one but we both agreed it was too much.
That’s when Abby said “ that is too glam for a pelvic exam”.🤣
I just love the way it turned out. The color palette is beautiful and it feels so warm and inviting.😍
What is your favorite part?
