This week, we're highlighting the third pillar of our Policy Platform: workforce development!

Workforce development helps workers advance in their careers, prepares students for employment, and ensures employers have the workforce they require for their needs, both present and future. We advocate for well-funded schools, community colleges, and universities, for greater access to early childhood support and education, and for policies that encourage students to remain or return here after completing their education.

The second pillar of our Policy Platform is Community Development!

Community Development is the improvement of public infrastructure, amenities, and institutions that make Chapel Hill a wonderful community for work and play. By advocating for policies that advance public transportation, dependable and affordable utilities, and a diverse mix of housing, our focus on Community Development guides much of our policy work.
