You can take time off of Instagram...it’s okay...I did
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I spent four days completely off of Instagram, except to replying to DMs and commenting on posts but the difference was that I did it WHEN I FELT LIKE IT. It wasn’t forced.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I didn’t post to my feed or stories
I didn’t work on lead generation
I engaged for 30 minutes MAX (over 4 days)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I needed a break from overextending myself, not taking time to live in flow and ground myself before pushing to create and drain my passion for it. I loved creating content for my clients, but I didn’t love creating it for myself.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If this sounds familiar I have a few solutions for you:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
👏BATCH YOUR CONTENT
When you’re feeling a creative spurt, LET IT ALL OUT. Don’t force yourself to create content when you don’t have the right energy– it’ll most likely just make you hate it for the future!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Whether that’s creating graphics, Reels, writing captions or blog posts– just get out your creative energy while you still have it! Listen to your body, your creative flow, and embrace it.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
👏OUTSOURCE YOUR CONTENT
If you’re someone who experiences creative burn out often or all the time OR you just simply don’t have the time to create, this is the option for you.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Can I tell you a secret? I can do BOTH of these things for you. Click the link in my bio to get started on working together, I can’t wait to see you there!
