When the right fundraising strategy is applied and the right auctioneer is on stage.. magic can happen.

Children’s artwork is one of our favorite things to sell.

Our record is $20,000.

Think outside the box. Find the auction items that have meaning, but don’t cost you anything.

Donors don’t always want trips or stuff.

This is a way to make an impact on such a meaningful way.

I would be lost on stage without my team on the auction floor. 💚

In big, loud crowds, my trained spotters mark the bids, but more importantly they engage with the donors… giving them a slight nudge to go higher, and then signaling to me if the bidder is suddenly out.

They also are magicians when it comes to selling multiples.

We know ahead of time what can be sold twice, so they know how to work it, to persuade the bidders to match the high price so we can sell it 2x or sometimes 20x for a consignment trip.

Grateful for this crew with big hearts all seeking to make the world a better place.

We had to hop on the trend…. And asked ChatGPT what our auction team would’ve looked like in the 80’s.

I think we’re all fine if we showed up at an event looking like this. 😂

Big hair. Bigger energy. (And I love how all the men shop at the same store for windbreakers…)

I went to auction school at 38 and didn’t start my own auction business until I was 43.

Why? Because of the negative talk in my head.

“Who are YOU to do this?”
“Who are YOU to run a stage and manage a crowd?”
“Why would non-profits choose YOU?”

And then I went to a conference in Vegas and met another auctioneer who said one simple thing….

“Do you know what’s POSSIBLE?”

And a switch flipped.

Maybe I CAN do this.
Maybe I CAN make a huge impact.

So I went to work.
I started building.
Created systems.
Studied Psychology.
Used my 20 years on TV and hired a stage presence coach.
And I joined a mastermind of other incredible female entrepreneurs.

Fast forward to today…
Now we do 65+ events a year across the southeast with a team of 4 auctioneers.

If nothing else from this post… it’s a reminder to get out of your head.

When you focus on SERVING others and the impact you can make… that’s when the magic happens.
