To now be on a list alongside the women leading some of these companies is a surreal moment for both of them.

Women like .krawcheck (), Rachel Romer (), Deborah Liu (), Heather Hasson & Trina Spear (), (), Caitlin Donovan ( Health), Julia Hartz (), Desiree Perez (), and Asima Ahmad, MD & Tammy Sun () just to name a few.

Our program was built after learning that 99% of domestic violence cases involve financial abuse - damaging someone’s credit, cutting off access to bank accounts and cash, even limiting their ability to work or ensuring they’re fired.

Our founders had the chance to sit down with Michelle King, an award wining author, speaker and expert on culture and equality. In this episode of her podcast, The Fix, Michelle focuses on how nextOPP is tackling the issue of domestic abuse through their business.

Michelle points out in the podcast intro some shocking statistics.

“One of the key challenges affecting women and men globally is domestic violence. On average, nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner in the United States.

Domestic violence occurs across all socioeconomic, educational, racial, ethnic, and gender groups. 1 in 4 women will experience this issue.

Outside of the physical and psychological impact, victims also face financial abuse, which makes it really difficult for victims to leave their abusive partners. Financial independence plays a key role in enabling victims of abuse to make a change.

In this episode, we’ll be hearing from Gail Tiburzi Buck and Rebecca Oppenheim, co-founders of NextOPP Search — a recruitment company inspired by the one-for-one social entrepreneurship model.”

As a we are held to the highest standards of social and environmental impact. We were thrilled to become a B Corp in 2019, but the journey never ends.

We are always evaluating every aspect of our business in order to optimize how we use our business as a force for good - looking at how we interact with all of our stakeholders, not just shareholders.

B Corps must re-certify every 3 years and I am happy to announce that we have not only re-certified, but raised our overall score!

Excited to be a part of this global movement and community of businesses that join together to achieve a collective vision of an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economic system that benefits all people and the planet.
