Over the course of six weeks in May and June 2025, WV Departments of Health, Health Facilities, and Human Services partnered with Guidehouse to facilitate a statewide listening tour – not of places, but of perspectives.
Per Maria Young of WV Public Broadcasting: "Through virtual focus groups and in-person meetings, the agency gathered input from more than 350 participants from 44 counties," wrote Maria Young of WV Public Broadcasting. "The report highlights the need for mental health services for parents and children, including telehealth options in rural areas."
One more reason why Focus Groups are so needed here in Wild and Wonderful West Virginia!
