Watch my fascinating interview with the inspiring Charmaine N. Kelley, Command Chief Master Sergeant for the 437th Airlift Wing, Joint Base Charleston. Chief Kelley helps utilize over 2,100 Air Force members to ensure the Wing's combat readiness. Additionally, Chief Kelley serves as the Wing Commander's representative on base and civilian committees, councils, and boards charged with meeting quality of force and quality of life needs for the base populace.
Chief Charmaine N. Kelley is featured as one of the forty portraits in Brazilian artist Fer Caggiano’s art exhibit, “Like A Girl: Dare To Dream”.
So, when did “Like A Girl” become a bad thing? Thinking, feeling, and acting "like a girl" gets to mean that you are strong, intelligent, and can achieve greatness.
This interview with Chief Kelley kicks off Episode 5 of the Female Empowerment Series, as part of the AskThomasHeath channel.
Until May 2, 2021, this ground-breaking exhibit will be featured at the City of Charleston Gallery.
