They’ve been with me for like 3 years now so they’ve seen EVERYTHING.

From undercharging, not being able to delegate much, etc.

Excuses include anything like “I didn’t have enough time”, “I’m afraid to hire”, etc.

Notice I didn’t say money. Many think scaling means money. While it is a part of it, that’s not all it is.

Also, you can make “a lot” of money without a team, systems, etc. It doesn’t mean to do this though.

Scaling is just another way to say expanding.

When you expand, real growth happens. This is where people fall off.

You’ve built your business for yourself, but you didn’t prepare for the “what’s next”.

All in all, document & monitor. It’s “boring”, but it’s necessary for a smooth transition.

Even though The Lazy Millennial isn’t a big company… yet, I still know a thing or two about setting the stage to creating a culture within your business.

This was one of the things I missed my first go around at building a team.

there was no connection to my previous company outside making money/passive income and that’s not what I want to be known for.

Making money is obvious in business, but I want my team to feel welcome and be a company they are proud to mention to others.

While most of us are here to help you build and flourish, some are here to solely profit.

How is this achieved? It’s off your ignorance. People want maximum benefits for minimum work. Others see this and build while you’re still in the same spot.

Y’all, this stuff takes work. Unless you make the right connections, it’s going to be a while to get to where you need to be.

Getting help comes in different ways. It can be as small as getting a book or digital product from someone down to investing in consulting, coaching, etc.

Even having accountability partners counts as help because you are getting other opinions and that is needed when you are building.

If you plan to invest in someone, make sure you do your research.

Ask questions. Look through their Content. See the kind of people they help.

Some of you are being taken advantage of because you want fast results for the bare minimum. It doesn’t work like that.

You truly want to make it? Ask for help.
