More than 100 Sonepar USA associates attended this year's Women in Industry Forum, NAED's largest professional development event. Since 2021, we’ve invested in the growth of 600+ associates through this industry-leading experience.

Beyond the sessions, one of the most meaningful parts of the experience is the opportunity to connect with peers and leaders from across the industry.

Our annual dinner, hosted by Sonepar's Women Advocating Today for Tomorrow (WATT), brings many of those conversations together, creating space to share experiences and build relationships.

After making stops at NorthEast Electrical in Massachusetts and Irby Utilities in Mississippi, the trophy arrived at Sonepar's Charleston office as part of its year-long tour of the USA.

Some trophies gather dust on the shelf. This one is hitting the road for a cross-country tour!

Sonepar USA was recently awarded the 2026 Henri Coisne Memorial Trophy, a recognition within Sonepar's global network that highlights one country for outstanding performance, entrepreneurship and deployment of our shared Purpose.

Now, the trophy has begun its journey across the USA, stopping first at NorthEast Electrical in Brockton, Massachusetts. NorthEast was France-based Sonepar's first acquisition on this side of the pond.

From there, Henri headed to Irby Utilities just in time to join the company's 100th anniversary celebration in Jackson, Mississippi. Next stop: our Sonepar office in Charleston, South Carolina!

Over the next year, the trophy will visit Sonepar operating companies across the United States, celebrating the associates, entrepreneurial spirit and shared values that made this achievement possible.

👉 Sonepar Training for Emerging Professionals (STEP) is a 12-month paid training and rotational program for recent college graduates. Participants get hands-on experience in various job roles before choosing the career track that's the best fit for their future.

Sonepar is proud to announce the 14 Veterans of Foreign Wars VFW posts who will be receiving free LED lighting upgrades this year through our Bright Lights Brighter Futures program!

Each year, we complete lighting retrofits for community nonprofits. In celebration of America’s 250th, all retrofits this year will be focused on VFW posts. Upgrading from outdated fluorescent lights to LED fixtures creates more welcoming spaces for veteran communities.

Energy-efficiency isn’t just better for the environment; it reduces energy costs, allowing the VFW to reinvest more funds towards their mission of serving veterans and their families.

We greatly appreciate the partnership of Acuity Inc. and Cooper Lighting Solutions who will be donating the lighting fixtures and materials for these projects, and PSG Energy Services who will complete installation over the next couple of months. TerraCycle Regulated Waste will also help us reduce the environmental impact of the upgrades through recycling services for the old fixtures.
