PATH Act Refund Update — What’s REALLY Coming Next 🚨

If you claimed EITC or ACTC, here’s the timeline you can realistically expect:

🗓 Transcript Updates: Starting Feb 13 (overnight cycles begin)
🗓 PATH Act Hold Lifts: Around Feb 15–17 (IRS cannot release refunds before mid-February by law)
💰 Code 846 (Refund Issued): Typically begins showing Feb 18 – Feb 20 for early accepted returns (batch processing varies)
🔎 “Where’s My Refund?” Major Updates: Around Feb 21 for most early PATH filers

🏦 Early-release banks (Cash App, Chime, etc.): Often Feb 18 – Feb 20
🏦 Traditional banks (Chase, Wells Fargo, etc.): Usually Feb 23 – Feb 25

📌 Official IRS expectation: Most early EITC/ACTC refunds available by March 2, 2026 (not necessarily ON that date)

⚠️ Reminder:
Updates happen in waves — no movement today does NOT mean something is wrong. The IRS updates systems overnight.

✨ If you still haven’t filed… let’s fix that.
