Nothing brings more joy as a Loan Officer AND as a parent than helping one of your own. Today, our son (my bonus son) stands in front of his new home—his second new home! 💙

Helping him through this journey, not just as his Mortgage Advisor but as his biggest cheerleader, has been such a privilege.

Watching him grow as a long haired kid pushing through high school, becoming a Nuclear Machinist Mate with the U.S. Navy, helping him close on his first home at 22, and now his 2nd at just 25! Watching him sacrifice, make smart decisions, and achieve these milestones is an incredibly proud feeling.🥹

I have worked my ass off to have the things that I have and do the things that I do and I have sacrificed family time for all of it. It didn’t come from a 9 to 5 job. Some of you want more but are not willing to put in the effort.
That’s why you say, It must be nice.”
Next time you say "damn, must be nice" you might want to understand a lifestyle that made it possible!

8-5 didn't make it.
Parking on the couch to watch TV didn’t make it.
Sleeping in on Saturdays didn’t make it.
Calling in when sick didn’t make it.
Being content with where I’m at didn’t make it.

It came from some 15-20 hour days.
It came from beating the sun up.
It came from working on weekends.
It came from sacrificing family time.
It came from wanting a little better tomorrow.

These are a few things to consider before you throw out "damn, must be nice" at someone! We are all products of our competence. And extra efforts are what make the biggest differences at the end of the day!

New Conventional Loan limits are increasing from $647,200 to $726,200.

What does this mean for buying or refinancing a home??

Loan amounts, now up to $726,200, qualify as a conventional loan whereas before anything over $647,200 would be a Jumbo loan which can come with more challenges.

But what a great time to get into a conventional loan at a higher amount!

EVERY CLIENT HAS A STORY… this is a good one!😍
This client was sent to us a few weeks ago because she wanted to buy a home but had one BIG HURDLE to overcome…

UNEMPLOYED FOR 8 YEARS😱

She hadn’t worked much in the last 8 years because she had been staying home with her teenage daughter who was in an accident and had a Traumatic Brain Injury!

She just entered back into the workforce THIS YEAR!

The reason why she was able to even go back to work at this time was because she had the ability and fortitude to truly care for and empower her daughter to not only OVERCOME the hurdles of a TBI, but to COMPLETE COLLEGE and go on to start her own business as well.
