This position will be responsible for maintaining the facility’s electrical and control systems. Duties include but are not limited to inspection, calibration, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical instrumentation controls, pneumatic and hydraulic actuators as well as switchgear, motors and other electrical equipment. We are looking for candidates willing to work rotating shifts, including days and nights. Most maintenance positions in our steel plant require moderate to heavy lifting and can be physically demanding including working in extreme temperatures and at elevated heights.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must have high school diploma or equivalent and experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience is preferred in the following: CMMS systems, AC/DC drives and motors, digital and analog electronics, schematics, print reading, control circuits, computers/PLC and test instruments, power supplies, power distribution, 480V systems, NFPA70E, construction/installation, mechanical maintenance knowledge/experience, and crane maintenance experience.
