At Bridge Builder Leadership, we believe the future of our home city, Charlotte, will be shaped not only by our ideas, strategies, and investments, but by the quality of our relationships.

Our founder, David “Dae-Lee” Arrington’s conversation with Hugh McColl, reflecting on the importance of his relationship with Harvey Gantt, serves as a powerful reminder that another way is possible when people choose connection, understanding, and trust.

Cassiel is a Therapist and Mental Health Counselor who helps people navigate the realities of stress, emotional health, relationships, and personal growth.

During tomorrow’s June webinar, Cassiel will help us explore what constantly leading on empty does to us over time, why so many leaders struggle to give themselves permission to pause, and practical ways to restore our capacity moving into the second half of the year.

🌱 Sometimes the most meaningful growth happens when we resist the urge to retreat.

Over the past several months, this group of leaders from across the East Coast showed what is possible when people remain open, honest, and willing to stay present with one another. When conversations became difficult, they leaned in rather than pulled away, listened deeply, and discovered what can happen when curiosity is given more space than judgment.

We’re excited for the June Bridge Builder Leadership webinar, “The Mid-Year Pause We All Need.”

Next month, David “Dae-Lee” Arrington (), Founder of Bridge Builder Leadership, will welcome two special guests who bring thoughtful perspectives around mental health, reflection, wellness, and sustainable rhythms:

🧡 Cohort 9… what a journey!

From their very first session, this group leaned into one another in a special way. Early on, they gave themselves the name “The Notorious 9s,” and they carried that spirit with them throughout the entire experience. 😄

When conversations left people on the edge, and tears filled the room, this cohort did not retreat. They created space to keep it real, support one another, and grow together with honesty and courage.

Along the way, they welcomed and celebrated a new baby Bridge Builder, shared plenty of laughs, and built a bond that became truly palpable by the final session.

At Bridge Builder Leadership, moments like these continue to remind us what becomes possible when leaders slow down, build trust, and give themselves permission to show up fully human with one another.

We’re grateful for every leader who helped make this cohort what it became. The impact of this group will continue far beyond the room.
