Language Services and Consulting, LLC, was present at the APCSC RDC in Atlanta, Georgia, on Friday, June 26. The “Diaspora at the Table” forum, convened by leaders of the DRC government, aimed to share crucial information about the terms of the US-DRC strategic partnership with their US diaspora members.

Such forums facilitate important discussions on bridging gaps and expanding investment opportunities for all stakeholders in the US. As always, Language Services and Consulting, LLC ensured that beyond linguistic translation, we also translate systems, integrate access, and expand participation.

In a call to action, the Director General of the APCSC RDC, Mr. Freddy Shembo, emphasized the importance of individual responsibility in making each Congolese diaspora member a significant and decisive actor in the transformative moment that this partnership represents for the DRC.

H.E. the Ambassador of DRC in Washington further reinforced this point, stating that the momentum generated is a “first step” that must be followed by “continuous negotiations” to ensure the full maturity of the partnership.
