2. Automate your client inquiry process as much as possible.
- This doesn't have to mean no personalization or robotic responses! Make sure you're utilizing your CRM or email server to its highest capacity.

3. Invest in technology to increase your productivity.
- Don't be afraid of investing in things that make your content or creative process easier. Use the specialized apps, befriend AI, leverage cutting edge platforms.

4. Outsource what you hate to do.
- This is the biggest way you can help yourself. Get it off your plate if you can't stand to do it, whether that's blogging, inboxing, or invoicing. Hire the right help.

Be honest, we’re all entrepreneurs because we wanted to *someday* make money from our couches 😂.

Ugly sweaters optional. But preferable.

In reality, it all boils down to freedom:

The ability to set your own hours, wear what you want, establish you own procedures, build your business exactly how it works for your life, not the other way around.

Just because we’re the masters of our own leisure wear choices, however, does not mean we have to go it alone.

Don’t. Don’t do it. Don’t participate in every trend as a small business owner!

I know it’s tempting to hop in on something you think will get you seen, but I want you to consider two things:

1. Does the trend suit your audience and ideal customer?
2. Are you still providing value when you execute it?

If you’re iffy on either of these, step away from the meme, song, or dance!

Remember, your value lies in your ability to be authentic with your people. We’re all too good at
calling bu****it on social media, even if we don’t say it aloud 😂.

Do we remember when Pinterest was all recipes 😂? Those days are gone.

If you have a product, service, or you’re a blogger, Pinterest should *basically* replace your second-born.

(Don’t worry, someone else will break it to them.)

But really, a Pinterest strategy is a must.

Imagine evergreen traffic to your webpage or storefront that’s not dictated by the unknowable algorithm overlords, that can deliver customers to your doorstep years after you post.

Pinterest has the added value of being an application where customer intent is to spend on *themselves* or better their own life.

Your photography business, online art shop, coaching classes, those are all within the scope of what Pinterest users are ready to spend on.
