Principal Consultant Dianne Stewart launched and has managed the non-profit "South Africans in Charlotte" website and club www.southafricansincharlotte.org for the past 20 years. With this experience has come a deep understanding of what it takes to move to a new country and she has learned some valuable personal lessons from the more than 1600 South African families that have moved to the South Eastern part of the US over the years, including her own. PathWay USA has assembled the most reputable professionals they could find to assist newcomers to the country. Every aspect of the moving process and the needs that have to be met for Ex Pats, has been researched. WARNING! In spite of what anybody tells you, get EDUCATED first about how the U.S. Immigration system works. Then make an INFORMED decision about what you can and can’t do. This is an example of what happens when you don’t. This person will sit in detention for months if not years, then be deported if he cannot convince a judge that it is too dangerous for him to return. 98% of these claims are denied. UPDATE! The US Department of State has delayed the DV Lottery 2027.

It normally opens for submissions around the first or second week of October. This year the opening date is yet to be announced.

Also be aware that there will now be a US$1 entry fee imposed on all entries.
