Sometimes you just have to show up and it’s not even for yourself solely. You just need to be present. Don’t worry about the how, the who, or the when.

You should be able to introduce your business (or yourself) to within 30 seconds or less. No umm’s uhh’s or looking to sky for it to come down.

Speak clearly and precisely. (Practice in the mirror)

✨ Identify your goal
✨ Know your audience
✨ Emphasize your selling points
✨Connect

Yes in marketing this is called an “Elevator Pitch” this is how you introduce your business (or self) and get a key point across and connect with your audience. 🔑

Feelings and emotions are a natural response to any given situation. We’re human and we’re created to feel. Thing is…you can’t stay there! (negative feelings) It’s when you sit in these things, they take root and control every scenario in your life. That’s NOT good. 👎🏾 Here’s what helps me:

✨ Acknowledge what you’re feeling & why (truthfully)
✨ Give yourself a set time to process it (life is too short)
✨ Pray and release it to God (sometimes I write)
✨ When those feelings return repeat ☝🏾 (they will stop)

Feelings and emotions are fleeting but the love of God is eternal 💝

This morning on my way to work I passed a construction site 🚧. No one was there (it’s damp and rainy here) but the machines were still there and the word EXCAVATE came to mind.

Let’s go with the definition of to REVEAL or EXTRACT. Part of what I do as a Brand Coach is help people UNEARTH those qualities and attributes that make them uniquely themselves.

Some things are more surface level and can be recognized quickly. While others need to be revealed. Don’t be afraid to dig or let the digging happen. You may find out that you have a lot more to offer than what’s on the surface. And guess what?!?! You might even like it 😉

It’s a process but a process that is very beneficial and rewarding to not just you but those connected to you as well.💝

This one is for you ❤️ and your personal brand. It’s just as important as branding your business. Ex. I can say I’m a real estate agent but if I don’t embody that with my presence I won’t be taken seriously.

✨ Remember the 3 Cs of branding.
-Clarity
-Consistency
-Constancy

Be clear in who you are and are not. Don’t sugar-coat your qualifications. Express your brand across all communications. (How you look and feel matters) Determine where you want to fit in and then remain visible to your target audience.

This weekend going about my day minding my business…I encountered two different individuals at different times and places both battling things I had no idea of. I offered an ear, words of wisdom/encouragement and prayer. I also told them if they needed someone to talk to I’m available.

Do I have my own stuff going on? Sure I do Who doesn’t? But what I realized this weekend and what’s been pounding in my mind and spirit is PEOPLE NEED PEOPLE!

💗 Don’t isolate yourself from people
💗 Don’t identify with being a “loner”
💗 Don’t identify with being “misunderstood”

Instead ask God to send you YOUR people, people that you won’t have to constantly explain your heart to. He’ll do it!
