I love being a teacher.

There is something really special about walking into a classroom and knowing that you can make a difference in a child’s life.

But there was another side of my life that people didn’t see.

Every morning, I had to be somewhere at a certain time.

Every afternoon, I left when the workday said I could leave.

And like so many working moms…

my life was organized around my job.

Family time.

Travel.

Everything had to fit around a schedule.

And one day I realized…

I wasn’t only looking for more money.

I was craving something much deeper.

Time.

I wanted to have more control over my day.

So I started building something on the side.

Not because I wanted to walk away from teaching overnight.

But because I wanted to create options for the woman I would be five or ten years from now.

And that’s something I wish more women understood.

Sometimes a side business isn’t about escaping your job.

it’s about creating choices your job can’t give you.

I loved teaching, but I didn’t love having so little energy left for my family and myself.💫

Building something alongside my job helped me create more flexibility without walking away from the work I cared about.💫

Sometimes, you don’t need to quit. You simply need another option.💫
كنت حبّ التعليم، بس ما كنت حبّ إنو ما يضلّ عندي طاقة لعيلتي ولحالي.

لما بلّشت إبني شي حدّ وظيفتي، قدرت إخلق مرونة أكتر من دون ما إترك الشغل اللي بحبّه.

مرات مش لازم تتركي وظيفتك. يمكن بحاجة بس لخيار تاني.

My students taught me that making a mistake doesn’t mean you have failed.🌺

It simply means you are learning.💫

Watching them try again reminded me that we don’t need to know everything before beginning something new.🙌

When I started my online business, I wasn’t completely ready and I didn’t have all the answers. I simply became willing to learn one step at a time.💫

لسنين، كنت مفكّرة إنو كل ما اشتغلت أكتر، بكون عم بعمل الأفضل لعيلتي.

بس كل ما كنت أعطي وقت وطاقة أكتر للشغل، كان يضل عندي وقت وطاقة أقل للأشخاص اللي عم اشتغل كرمالن. 💛

هون فهمت إنو تأمين مستقبل عيلتي مهم… بس وجودي حدّن، وعيش اللحظات الحلوة معن، مهم كمان.

التغيير ما صار بيوم وليلة. بلّشت بخطوات صغيرة، وبنيت خيار تاني جنب شغلي وعيلتي. ✨
