As promised, SWIPE for 4 examples and types of business models
Four Business models & Examples:
1. Retail Models - Example: Trader Joe's - This business model involves purchasing merchandise, from a wholesaler, in larger quantities at a low price and reselling it to the general public in smaller quantities at a higher price.
2. Fee-for-service Models- Example: Summer Camps- This model is used where fees are paid in return for services delivered.
3. Subscription Models- Example: Amazon Prime- This model is used to attract long-term clients. In this model, customers are charged a recurring fee for a product or service. The recurring fee is usually ran on a monthly or yearly basis.
4. Bundling Models- Example: AT&T- This model involves selling goods or services together as a combined unit & usually at a discounted price than if it would be sold separately.
