Do you ever wake up…
but not fully arrive in your body yet?
Like your mind turned on before you did.
This morning I laid flat on the floor… stretching… looking up at the ceiling fan.
And for a second it looked like a little reflection of me.
Arms reaching.
Legs extended.
Balanced in stillness.
And I realized…
Most of us start the day already behind ourselves.
Phone first.
Stress first.
Responsibilities first.
Before we ever check in with the human carrying all of it.
So this is your reminder to pause for five minutes before the world starts talking at you.
Stretch your body before your thoughts stretch you thin.
Breathe intentionally.
Point your toes.
Reach your arms.
Wake your spine up gently.
Let your consciousness reconnect with your physical self.
Because your body deserves to be greeted too.
Not rushed.
Not dragged into survival mode.
Just… welcomed into the day.
Five quiet minutes can change the way your entire nervous system experiences the next 24 hours.
