Ohio lithium-ion processing facility update! 🎉

Our first 4x line has been working hard the past few months, increasing our capacity to process lithium-ion by 300% since December. 🔋💪

This is a huge step forward in our mission to create a circular economy of critical minerals and a more stable domestic supply chain. Congratulations to the entire team for your tireless work - more to come! ♻️

We are thrilled to partner with the LFCAA Recycling Education & Outreach to educate community members on how to properly dispose of their batteries and other household hazardous waste. We hope you can joins us for the Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day!

We are excited to announce that there will be a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day for Fairfield Co. Residents on July 12th from 8:00am-12:00pm at the Fairfield County Workforce Center.

This event is made possible through grant funding by the Ohio EPA. A big thank you to Cirba Solutions for their sponsorship.
In addition, thank you to the Fairfield County Workforce Center for hosting the space. We could not do this event without our partners.

Did you know that North America produces the third largest volume of end-of-life batteries in the world?

We take immense pride in partnering with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to implement working sessions across the nation to spread knowledge and awareness about battery recycling.

“Partnerships between both the government and private sector are absolutely crucial during the time of evolution of battery recycling and sustainability,” said Danielle Spalding, VP, Communications & Public Affairs at Cirba Solutions.

These sessions will encompass broader discussions on consumer electric and portable batteries, as well as more focused conversations pertaining to vehicles, energy storage, and industrial applications.

At CES 2024, Danielle Spalding joined the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and had a chance to present Cirba Solutions’ role in the battery recycling sector and stress the importance of increased awareness and education about recycling.

We are proud to support the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's work around the development of practices for labeling and collection to increase the nation’s recycling of batteries.

With over 110 years of combined leadership experience in battery materials, we are looking forward to supporting these amazing efforts to close the battery supply chain loop and continuously strive for a sustainable future.
