The Professional Women in Building Council (PWB) of the Home Builders Association of Greater Charlotte (HBAGC) is dedicated to promoting, enhancing, and supporting women in residential construction through advocacy, community involvement and awareness of the home building industry.

The PWB Council has established a Scholarship Program for students who are pursuing a career in the home building industry. The scholarship applies to female candidates only.

The Scholarship Program will award a limited number of $1,000 (minimum) scholarships. These scholarships are for one year and may be renewable upon re-application and proof of successful completion of the previous year's work.

The scholarship application is linked below in the comments and is due via email by April 15, 2026.

We’re so proud to announce that Morgan Smith with Roby Services was named PWB Woman of the Year for 2025.
Our council had two other members honored at the Home Builders Association of Greater Charlotte's annual holiday party.
PWB past chair Andi Dirkschneider Bliss was recognized for her service as HBA President, and Tatiana Murga with TNT Home Staging was named Distinguished Associate Member of the Year.
Congratulations to all!
As part of the holiday party celebration, PWB members organized a wine pull and raised almost $1,000 for our Scholarship Fund!
