A friend once asked me, “What scares you the most about strategizing for other business owners?”

I said, “I fear nothing!”

If truth be told, I fear nothing because I understand what is involved in helping an individual go from stuck to unstuck, from confusion to clarity and confidence.

I have helped so many individuals — C-suite executives, founders, e-commerce professionals, and so many more — to put their vision to work and see results.

Experiences from our past can be telling...

Here's an exercise that I'll be performing; interested in trying it too?

Here's what I want you to do:

✏️ Take some time to reflect on your memories of past peak work-related experiences and do some journaling and reflect on them to see what you find.

💡Certain memories will stick with you for a good reason. Make a list of those experiences, or write them out as a narrative story.

💡 Reviewing past experiences is particularly useful if you are in the middle of a transition and is also helpful if you're just getting started on your entrepreneurship journey and don't yet have much business experience.

⚠️ Caution: When looking back, do beware of revisionist history- being too kind to the good days or too critical of the bad times. I just want you to try and be honest.

Have you always wanted to...
start a side hustle? learn how to draw? leave your job?

Does it feel like that dream is sitting on the shelf gathering dust?

It used to be that way for me too.

For years I would daydream about starting SpiceLAB but I realized that dreaming wasn't going to get me where I wanted to be. I HAD to take action. So here's what I did:

📌Wrote down my why- give yourself permission to DREAM BIG
📌Defined my purpose- This is a simple statement that explains what you do and for whom.
📌Identified my audience- They are the people that you named above in your purpose statement. Really put some thought into the people you are best equipped to serve. Even consider who you most want to serve. It's okay to be picky about your audience.
📌Mapped out my vision impact- Think about how you want to work with your clients (services/products offered) Then set a timeline to accomplish them.

I started my business while still working a 9-5 as a single mom of 2 in the beginning. It was stressful all the time!

My business idea didn’t spring from a relaxing weekend at a meditation retreat; it came from necessity! I had to find myself a solution to design a business vision that would work for my life, or I would end up on the corporate hamster wheel forever, and that was not an option!

Now, I’m not gonna lie and say I hit it out of the ballpark straight away. I’ve had tough days. I’ve questioned myself, thought about quitting, but there was one thing I did that has made this all possible. I decided success is inevitable for me; I surrounded myself with like-minded people, worked with a coach, and in time developed clarity.
