As we close this Black History Month series, we’re reminded that Black love is history in motion. It’s built through commitment, healing, laughter, faith, forgiveness, and the everyday decision to keep choosing one another. The couples we highlighted this month show us that long-lasting marriages don’t happen by accident—they’re nurtured with intention and community.

That belief is at the heart of Marriage Matters. Our mission is simple but powerful: strong marriages help build strong families and thriving communities. Celebrating Black love, especially love that endures, is one way we honor our past while investing in our future.

This year, we’re taking that celebration even further.
