And honestly, that’s not the problem.

The real work is learning how to be better.

Better at listening.
Better at growing.
Better at showing up with intention, even when we don’t have it all figured out.

Progress doesn’t require perfection.
It requires awareness, humility, and the willingness to learn.

When we stop chasing “perfect” and focus on becoming better, we create space for real change—in ourselves and in the world around us.

Hey Ya'll,

We’re a little over five days into what some are still calling a New Year’s resolution.
I want to offer a different perspective: consider it a mindset change.

Growth isn’t something that starts on January 1 and fades by February.
Growth is continuous, and change is inevitable which means a mindset shift is required, not a momentary burst of motivation.

Instead of asking, “What do I want to improve this year?”
Ask, “How will I grow consistently and intentionally?”

Continuous growth doesn’t happen by accident.
It happens when we pause, reflect, and choose to move forward with purpose again and again.

This isn’t about a new year.
It’s about a new way of thinking.

on purpose.
with intention.

As I was driving into a parking lot today, I had to slow down and take a brief detour because a group of geese were crossing the way. In that moment, I felt the familiar urge to be impatient focused on where I needed to be and how quickly I wanted to get there.

But then I paused.

What if that wasn’t just an inconvenience?
What if that was a family, simply trying to get to the next safe place?

That small, unexpected pause shifted my perspective. It reminded me that so often in life, detours frustrate us because they interrupt our plans. Yet those same pauses may be protecting someone else, giving space for safety, care, or grace.

That’s the heart behind my book "A Guidebook to a Healthier Mindset."
Pausing isn’t always about stopping for ourselves. Sometimes, it’s about seeing beyond ourselves.

✨ Today’s PAUSE is about others.
Who might need your today?
Who could benefit from your , , or simply your time?

If we allowed ourselves to pause with , even briefly, how many moments could become blessings instead of burdens?

Today, I challenge you to PAUSE not out of frustration, but out of compassion and ask yourself:

Hey y’all,

I was recently talking with a colleague and fellow instructor, and I shared some feedback I received from an organization I partnered with.

Their goal was ambitious: train all  in a single day across multiple shifts, around the clock. To make it happen, I facilitated four trainings in one day, and the manager attended every session.💪🏽

Afterward, the manager asked me two questions:
“How did you do it?” and “Why was each training different?”

My answer was simple.
Each session had different people.

As a facilitator, I don’t just deliver material—I engage with the people in the room. I listen, adapt, and ensure the training meets their objectives in real time. The content may be consistent, but the experience should never be cookie-cutter.💫

I’m not a check-the-box  or .
My goal is for every audience to leave with something tangible, practical, and reusable tools they can apply again and again long after the session ends.

That’s where real learning happens.
That’s where real value is created.
