American Forest Management, Inc. Helping landowners manage, sell, buy and enjoy millions of acres of land for 60 years. AFM Real Estate is a subsidiary of American Forest Management.

At American Forest Management, we’ve been helping landowners like you manage, sell, buy, improve, and enjoy millions of acres of land for over 50 years. We remain keenly focused on our vision of making ownership more rewarding by helping people explore the full potential of their land. We are humbled by the over 1,200 clients who entrust us to be advisors and stewards of their land. Over 5.5 milli

on acres of it, in fact. This is a great responsibility and we take it personally, but never for granted. Clients like these have made us the largest land consulting and real estate brokerage firm in the United States. With hundreds of employees in offices across U.S., we’re able to provide our landowners with individualized local services while leveraging the vast technical resources of our national company. But don’t let our size scare you. We treat all landowners, large or small, with the same level of care and respect. Regardless of size, we’re fully invested in your land with you. In our way of thinking, we’re in this together.

Many professions have mentors and mentees for a reason. After all, it’s not easy to take all the knowledge learned in college and immediately apply acquired skills to a situation. Sometimes, there is a factor that the academic setting didn’t or couldn’t address, and that’s when a seasoned industry veteran can step in and share their expertise and experience. The same is true for forestry, and that’s why AFM has a robust internship program along with dedicated managers who mentor new employees. In our latest blog post, we share details about our internship program, our managers’ approach to mentoring, and advice for anyone joining the team.

In Central Washington, one of our loggers spotted this giant black bear adjacent to one of our ongoing harvests. He had no problem striking a pose, probably because of the beautiful color phase! Although they seem cuddly, remember to give all wild animals a wide berth and enjoy them from afar.
