One of the most powerful things I learned recently at the Global Love Institute conference in NYC came from Dr. Amir Levine and his new book Secure 💛
One of the biggest misconceptions in dating is that emotional highs and lows equal chemistry. But emotionally healthy relationships often feel much calmer than people expect.
Dr. Levine uses the acronym CARRP:
• Consistent
• Available
• Responsive
• Reliable
• Predictable
And no, that doesn’t mean boring.
It means emotionally safe.
Because the wrong relationship keeps you stuck overthinking every interaction. The right relationship creates space for:
✨ Joy
✨ Growth
✨ Laughter
✨ Stability
✨ Building a future together
After nearly 20 years as a matchmaker, I can confidently say this: the healthiest relationships are usually not the most chaotic. They’re the ones where both people consistently show up for each other.
That’s what true compatibility looks like.
