“These machines just run…and that’s the God’s honest truth.”

Production Saw and Machine, in business for 51 years in Jackson, Mich., runs high-volume, tight-tolerance work. This family business can’t afford downtime.

They chose Muratec for one reason—production.

Not bolt-on automation added later, but gantry automation that’s been built into the platform from the start.

Muratec pioneered integrated automation for higher throughput without more labor, more uptime and parts completed in a single cycle, and less handling and maintenance.

“They perform the way production equipment should—predictably and repeatably,” said Greg Vancalbergh, executive vice president.

Some of our turret punch presses are still running after 40+ years.

That’s not a claim - that’s a track record.

Muratec turret punch presses are built like true workhorses—engineered for uptime, repeatability, and long-term performance and backed by a legacy that started with Wiedemann in 1916 and strengthened by decades of Muratec innovation in servo-driven technology and automation.

Today’s turret punch presses deliver:
• Fast, precise punching and forming
• Flexible turret setups for high-mix production
• Seamless automation integration

Same proven DNA. Built for how you run today.

For more than a century, Greenwood Mills has built a legacy of quality. And for decades, Muratec has been part of that story.

At the Harris Plant in Greenwood, SC, that legacy is still in motion. Six Muratec VORTEX 870EX spinning machines and eight QPRO winders are helping drive meaningful gains in yarn quality and efficiency, spinning and winding yarn that ultimately becomes military gear and workwear.

It’s a powerful example of how advanced technology can build on tradition, strengthening processes that have been refined over generations. From raw cotton arriving in bales to finished material leaving the floor, every process at the Harris Plant reflects a commitment to precision, consistency, and performance.

But what stands out most is the partnership, the trust built over time, and a shared focus on doing the work right.

Muratec USA is grateful to the Greenwood Mills team for allowing us the opportunity to tell part of their story. Check out the snippet, then head to the link in comments for the full testimonial.

Another customer set to experience productivity like never before… ⬆️

This MW200, complete with integrated automation, has spent the last several weeks in our Charlotte, NC, shop, where our team of engineers and technicians have customized it for its next home.

Before it ships, there’s a lot that happens behind the scenes:
🔹Arrival from Japan
🔹Engineering to meet specific application requirements
🔹Run-offs to ensure performance and precision
🔹Final quality checks from the team who knows it best

And today, it’s all about the final step: packing.

Every panel is wrapped, and every detail accounted for.

Because when a machine leaves our shop, it’s not just primed to run, it’s ready to deliver.
