Happy Founders’ Day to my beloved Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Celebrating 113 years of sisterhood, service, and scholarship feels especially meaningful as this April marks my 22nd year of membership, aligning with the 22 phenomenal women who founded this organization back in 1913. Grateful for the legacy, the sisterhood, and the opportunity to carry their vision forward with pride and purpose. Gamma Phi ‘til I die!

Before receiving my WSSU Alumni Achiever Award, .llc decided to capture a few of my thoughts.

It’s one thing to do the work, to pour into others, and to give your all. But it’s something special when that work is recognized and celebrated. 🥳

As read my bio during the Founder’s Day Convocation, I had to pause and just breathe it all in. I thought about everything and everyone who got me here, the lessons, the long days, the late nights, the prayers, and the people who believed in me even when I couldn’t see my own light.✨

This moment wasn’t just about an award. It was about impact. It was about growth. It was about knowing that everything I poured out came back to meet me right here, right now. I am so grateful to be seen, to be celebrated, and to stand in a moment that reminds me of my power and my purpose.
