About the Founder
Monette Harrison is the sole proprietor of Armstrong & Harrison LLC Reaching Back, Inc. dba Island Oasis Foundation, a consulting company for administrative services, research and consulting services in the greater Washington, DC area. She has a bachelor of science degree in legal studies from the University of Maryland University College. Harrison is a highly decorated veteran
of the United States Army. She served for four years in Fort Hood, Texas while doing tours in Bosnia and rotational training exercises at the National Training Center in Fort Irvine, California. Prior to launching her company, she has worked in the legal field and general administration for over fifteen years. She has worked for small and large firms in the DC/MD/VA area and for the appointed judge Honorable Robert A Greenberg, of the Circuit Court in Maryland. Her specialties include, but are not limited to, knowledge of a variety of computer applications, motivational speaking, fundraising, mentoring and business planning. Harrison is a devoted mother, supporter and confidante. In her spare time she loves to travel, read her romance, fictional and non-fictional novels as well as roller-skate, dance, swim, crochet and watch comedy movies. Additionally, she loves Caribbean and Italian food, and sweet red.
