Can’t say enough about our initiative that we call Seminar For Tomorrow's Leaders (SFTL) - Rotary District 7680! Imagine what can happen when you equip young leaders with training and mentorship to lead themselves, lead with others, and change the world! What a sweet moment this morning getting to honor the lady who invited me to Rotary with the gift of the official Imagine Rotary scarf. She invited me, planted a seed, believed in me, and changed the course of my leadership journey. I am forever grateful for my Rotary family of almost 20 years. We’ve laughed, dug holes, traveled the world, picked up trash, climbed mountains, eradicated diseases, created safe drinking water opportunities, improved life and made a positive impact in our world. Tomorrow, history will be made with stepping into the leadership role of president as the first female ever to serve as Rotary International President. I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than to thank the woman who invited me to rotary, Myra Helms. Next year, I will serve our 56 club district that spans 14 counties as the District Governor. Cheers to all who served as mentors and inspiration along the way!! I am a better person because of Rotary. Link arms, have fun, and change the world in all the best ways!
