A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the discussion. We love bringing members together to learn, ask questions, and stay informed on the issues shaping our communities.

From client meetings and industry conversations to podcast microphones and conference sessions, our team made the most of Apartmentalize in New Orleans. 🎙️⚜️

Representing so many incredible clients across multiple markets is something we never take for granted. This week was filled with meaningful connections, fresh ideas, and conversations about the future of the multifamily industry.

And of course, we took time to record a special episode of The Associated while on the road, bringing industry insights and conference conversations directly to our listeners.

Thank you to our clients and partners for trusting CLTPR and CLTPR Management to represent your organizations, your communities, and your voices. We’re heading home inspired, energized, and ready to put these ideas into action.

🎤 It's that time again... Jokes of the Week is here.

We spend a lot of time talking public policy, advocacy, economic development, and community impact—but every now and then, we like to remind ourselves not to take life too seriously.

So grab your coffee, take a quick break, and let us know:

✨MAY MOMENTS✨

May has been JAM-PACKED for CLT PR. A month full of new projects, conferences, and as always, important conversations about how to best represent our clients.

Here’s a look back.

🎉 CLT PR assisted in the grand-opening of the BRAND NEW Spark by Hilton Hotel. In one of Mayor Vi Lyles’ last months in office, she and Actor Ravi Patel joined CLTPR and Hotelier, PM Patel for the opening of their new, conviently placed stay just minutes away from Charlotte Douglas Airport.

🏛️ CLTPR was represented at BOTH the South Carolina Apartment association and North Carolina Apartment Association’s conferences over the month.
•A week spent advocating for the multifamily housing industry

•From lobbying days to door-to-door conversations with legislators, every conversation made an impact

🍾 CLTPR also spent an evening at the 32nd Annual HTA Dinner and Gala. We had a great time joining industry leaders, partners and community champions for a conversation about hospitality, tourism, growth snd the future or Charlotte

✨A nonstop month of meaningful conversations, impactful advocacy, and incredible moments alongside our clients — and we’re grateful to have been part of it all ✨

Charlotte knows how to throw a dinner party 🍽️✨

We had a great time joining industry leaders, partners, and community champions at the annual HTA Dinner & Gala — one of the best rooms in the city for conversations about hospitality, tourism, growth, and the future of Charlotte.

Big thanks to the Greater Charlotte Hospitality & Tourism Alliance for hosting another evening bringing together the people helping keep Charlotte moving forward.

CLTPR was proud to have a seat at the table. 👏

Big conversations are happening around transportation in Charlotte—and we’re right in the middle of them.

This month, David Howard of the Metropolitan Public Transportation Authority Board sat down with attendees at CLTPR’s April Public Policy Meeting for an open, candid, and refreshingly conversational discussion on where things are headed as our region continues to grow and change. Howard stayed to field questions and listen to concerns from residents.

🚧 Growth is accelerating
🚆 Transportation is evolving
🗣️ And the conversation is just getting started

Want the full picture? Keep an eye out—CLTPR’s monthly newsletter with the full recap will be out in early May.

If you’re not on the list yet, now’s a great time to join!

Last week we gathered at Innovation Barn for a conversation that perfectly captured what “Local Politics for Non-Political People” is all about 👏

We were joined by Kimberly Owens, who shared her path from passionate community member to serving on City Council in Charlotte. She gave a candid look into what drives her work, the priorities she’s focused on, and what it really takes to lead in a fast-growing city.

From thoughtful questions to open dialogue, the room brought the energy — and the curiosity — making it a space where people could truly engage, learn, and connect.

Shoutout to Bryan Holladay for guiding such a meaningful conversation, and to everyone who showed up ready to be part of it.

And a big thank you to our host for creating the perfect environment for conversations like these ✨
