What is the Live Loud Collective? A community of fearless and fiery
Charlotte, N.C.-based female entrepreneurial muses and visionaries who celebrate the art of living loud by creating and growing businesses that support their individual definition of success and joy. We’re more than your typical online networking group. We offer real, raw, candid business content and in-person (non-boring ass/vibrant) events. And everything we do celebrates the art of building your business around a rich, full and meaningful lifestyle — one that exists because of your business, not in spite of it. -But if you’re running your business right, it doesn’t need to be. Aren’t there a billion other community networking groups and Facebook groups? Why should I waste one second on this when I could be sipping a gimlet and watching “Game of Thrones”? But here’s why we’re different:
We’re Charlotte based and 100-percent focused on female entrepreneurs. Our leadership team is comprised of successful, local female entrepreneurs who are strong, wise, and totally badass. We’re real, raw, and candid. Live Loud members aren’t afraid to offer insider tips on everything from “firing” customers to finding a therapist. And while we don’t claim to have all the answers, everyone on the team is incredibly skilled and ready to offer expertise, give advice and even share downright f@uck-ups—all to assist fellow fearless and fiery female entrepreneurs. We think badass women don’t need to be huddled inside a convention center, hocking business cards, to connect with other badass women. We prefer cocktail-making classes while learning about the finer points of social media and a Match.com-type system for finding a future mentor. This ain’t your mama’s old-school networking group, and we’re proud of it. This is a multi-level-marketing/franchise-free zone Though we’re not opposed to either (well, we could do without the random Facebook requests from people ramming skin care down our throats;-) , we’re looking for entrepreneurs who’ve created their own concepts. We celebrate the kind of madness it takes to have a fresh idea and bring it to life. You won’t see a bunch of sponsored or affiliate links. If you see us promoting someone or something, rest assured it’s something we wholeheartedly believe will be effective for our members. (and if we eventually accept affiliate fees...you will always know and proceeds go back into the mission.) We will do our best to purchase products from and utilize services from this very group. Not only do we locate female-owned businesses, we celebrate them and support them. We won’t use overplayed and ineffective terms like “work-life balance.” If you’ve designed your business in accordance with what you believe is a full life, “balance” is unnecessary. We’ll show you why.
