The Diversity Summit Summit given by CMS School District was held yesterday. We learned about how to do business with and it was very well presented.

Solving a problem and getting to know staff members is the key to working with them. You also need to make sure your company is registered as a Vendor with the State of NC as a very first step.

Our networking event was held last night at the Coffey and Thompson Art Gallery. Ingrid Butler of I Am Design Intervention taught us to have an awareness of the healing process of art.

Our Connectors were able to learn about the emotions that colors bring with Ingrids acrylic painting lesson. The wine helped too!

So happy to attend the Med-Assist annual luncheon today at the . Jonathan Taylor, Gospel Artist, did an amazing job with is original song about HOPE, which was the theme of the luncheon.

The keynote speaker was Joseph Machicote, Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer of Premier Inc. who spoke about healty equity.
Everyone should have a fair opportunity to be healthy.

We should all learn to leave the world a better place then when we found it. It is important to make little deposits into our communities because that leads to bigger lasting changes.

Make health equity explicit and an active commitment.
