An often missed key to getting more business opportunities:

Don't sit back crying racism/sexism/etc. when you see others getting contracts/employment opportunities/etc.

God works through people and if you're staying isolated, blocking everyone with whom you don't agree and such childish tomfoolery, you can't criticize those who are doing the work.

Lesson: Stop talking about networking and, well.......network.

Wish people a Happy Birthday. Celebrate people's marriage anniversaries. Commend people on being at their job for years. Encourage a Brother/Sister when you see they are a bit down. Drop a "Thank You" note to someone, when they send a note. Ask "How are you?" when you notice the fact that someone who typically makes posts often (whether you agree with their political position(s) or not), has not posted in a while.

In other words: Be kind! 💗

Kind people get consideration and favor before a nice resume. Why? Kind people attract other people and that will help build a business quicker than your intellectual prowess. 💗
