The 7th Annual Samhuinn Festival at Thistlerock. Saturday, October 24.

This year we follow The Silk Road: spice, silk, fire, and mead on a 130-acre flower farm in Virginia’s Monticello AVA. Live archery, music in the amphitheater, ancestral connection, and the fire lit as the dark comes in. Swipe for the full program.

It’s a micro festival by design. Small enough to feel like a gathering, big enough to get lost in.

Today is , and we’re spending it the way we spend most days, watching the bees work!

A single worker visits thousands of blossoms in her life and makes about a twelfth of a teaspoon of honey. Every jar on our shelf is the work of thousands of them.

And they aren’t doing it alone. Bumblebees, mason bees, moths and beetles do an enormous share of the pollinating with none of the credit. Want to help? Let something bloom. Leave the clover. Skip the spray. And support your friendly neighborhood meadery!

Come taste what they made. Honey tastings are 10% off all weekend!

9,000 years. That’s how long people have been turning honey into something worth raising a glass to. 🍯

Tomorrow is National Mead Day, and we’re pouring in good company — the oldest fermented drink on earth, made here on the farm from our own hives.

All day Saturday, August 1: 10% off mead flights and merch.

Come taste a little history. 🐝

Escape the heat and the fire smog and join us this evening from 5-7pm for a special impact talk with best-selling author, investor “, and entrepreneur Jenna Nicholas. Jenna is President of LightPost Capital and CEO of Impact Experience, which connects investors with underserved and marginalized communities. She previously worked at the World Bank Treasury and Calvert Special Equities, and has led initiatives that shifted billions of dollars toward sustainable solutions, including fossil-fuel divestment work.

We’ll be gathering for an evening of conversation around “Enlightened Bottom Line”, exploring spirituality, business, investing, purpose, and what it means to lead with both heart and impact.

The evening will include a book talk, Q&A, signing, and time to connect.
