I am so blessed to work on many projects that could be described as "cool" and occasionally "really cool" in all the areas of my creative and marketing work, but this project, an art book featuring an auspicious collection of portraits created by the late local artist Frances Brand, is sending me seeking other descriptive language to describe the work I have privilege to do do for a job and career. More on this project, a collab with the Albemarle Charlottesville Historical Society, very soon!

Frances Brand (1901-1990) was a U.S. Army major, a civil rights activist, a world traveler, a devoted churchgoer, and a portrait artist, among other things.
