Knight's Gambit Vineyard was established in 2003 and is over five acres of Petit Verdot, Pinot Grigio, Merlot and Cabernet Franc located in the Monticello AVA on a rolling hillside facing the Blue Ridge Mountains near Whitehall, Virginia. We produce Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Rose, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Meritage wines. Our wines are available locally in select wine shops and in our beaut

We are thrilled to share that our 2023 Chardonnay not only won a gold medal at this year’s Governor’s Cup, but it was also designated as “Best in Show”, meaning it was the top scoring wine in the Chardonnay category out of 670+ wines!!

Congrats to all of our fellow wineries and a special cheers to for taking home the Cup!
