Your P&L's job isn't just to sit there and look ✨pretty✨ (even though the financials I send to my restaurant clients totally do)...

You need to be putting those financial statements to WORK!

And by work, I mean looking at these 3 numbers from your financial statements, bare minimum, every month.

Let your numbers show you where to focus your time + energy to grow your restaurant business!

Is it really the best use of your time to spend hours in Canva resizing that graphic or in QuickBooks trying to get your accounts reconciled down to the penny?!

At some point, I need contractors to realize it's probably NOT! 🤷

If you love doing it, keep on doing it...

But when you graduate to the "paying someone else to do it is cheaper" stage of your business, I'm here to handle your bookkeeping! 📚

Let me tell you a little bit about this person, and you tell me if anyone rings a bell! 😜

They're a contractor who's trying to be the most booked out contractor in the state.

They're constantly juggling work life and home life, and all the never-ending admin work of being a business owner.

They definitely want to know their numbers, but they'd rather live on the edge than open up Quickbooks.

Bonus points if they're a fan of football so we can chat numbers AND how our favorite teams are doing!

I know booking that first discovery call with a bookkeeper can feel scary, but trust me...

I also wake up and doomscroll on my phone. 🤭

This shouldn't be a one-sided convo. This is your opportunity to ask me what's included, what it'll cost, and what *exactly* you'll get each month with me as your bookkeeper.

Let me paint a picture for you: it's October and you're deep in Black Friday + Halloween + holiday planning (just like your contractors). 🎃

November rolls around, and you're busier than ever, and December? Good luck getting a hold of you!

Oh yeah, same goes for your contractors! 👀

It's not that they want to ignore you the last few months of the year; we all just get busyyyy!

So when you start trying to get those loose ends, like W-9s from your contractors in December, you're too late...

Moral of the story: now is the time to make sure you have W-9s from all the contractors you've paid in 2026.

Honestly, some contractors out there should definitely be happy I don't charge by the hour! 😅

Whether it takes me 10 hours to do your monthly bookkeeping or 4 (thanks to my experience + systems), your bill stays the same.

When you hire me, I take a look at your books FIRST to scope the work and make sure we're both on the same page about what that work includes and what it'll cost! 💸

I never want my contractor clients to be worried about a surprise $200 getting added to their bill, so I price upfront and am very open and honest with my clients!

You might save a few minutes by just drafting up a contractor agreement instead of setting up a new hire in your payroll system...

But if you get that employee vs. contractor classification wrong, the time and money you thought you saved up front just might cost you waaay more in back taxes + penalties.

If you're not totally sure *what* to call your new team member, ask an HR expert.

Like, you're not telling me Jeff Bezos only worries about taxes in April... so why are you?! 👀

Not that Bezos is my business gold standard, but seriously, I need contractors to stop playing it safe when it comes to their money mindsets.

ANYYTHING IS POSSIBLE (especially with as your bookkeeper).
